"Excavation: Layers of Meaning" at New Bedford Art Museum, January - May, 2020

Anthony Falcetta January 11, 2020

To start off the new year, I’ll have recent work on view as part of a group show at the New Bedford Art Museum in New Bedford, MA. This show, curated by artist and educator Catherine Carter, will feature ten artists working in a variety of styles and media, united by a fascination with layering and how it can hint at stories, create structures, document material processes, and convey meaning.

“Excavation: Layers of Meaning” includes works by regional artists Adria Arch, Tracy Barbosa, Resa Blatman, Alma Cummings, Mary Dondero, Steven Duede, Anthony Falcetta, Lisa Granata, Nancy Hayes, and Jeannie Motherwell.
